FontBook™ Typeface Compendium App Reviews

The is a well designed app with a lot of typefaces to browse. There are many ways to explore the various typefaces that make finding and comparing different types fun and interesting. The only problem is this app has been crashing constantly since update. It seems to be related to the "favorite" button. Im using latest version of iOS 7 on iPhone 4S & iPad (model just before iPad Air). This crashes the iOS and forces reboot (black screen with apple logo). I hope to see a fix soon. Keep up the good work on developing this app.

Useful app that help each designer to choose a suitable type for the project.

I foolishly assumed this app would allow previews of user-defined text (like the iPhone version). But this feature is completely missing. Buyers beware!!!

iPad Air. Still too slow.

Slow as molasses, and very frustrating to navigate. Very poorly thought out and designed.

Want to give this 5 stars. It’s really very very impressive. The only thing I have to wonder is why they don’t allow for customizable text. This is a no brainer for professionals….. unless I start looking for clients all named “RAG” which is the preview text shown. Great work… but do this one update and you’ll sell a ton more of this app as well as make us designers very VERY happy! :)

Cant help myself... This app is so well designed and just looks so good on my iPhone 6 that it needs no greater purpose other than a glorified catalog. Wish I had an iPad to enjoy its full potential! Now a staple app on this iPhone...

At one time, this was a top font resource app for designers. Now its just time-consuming. An exercise in futility.

Your app sorely needs updating. Also consider adding access to Font Magine from the app.

An excellent way to see and explore type. Multi-faceted organization and easy to use customizations make this useful for anyone interested in type.
